About the UKA

We assist dance teachers worldwide by providing their pupils with Achievement Awards for all ages & abilities, in all styles of Dance & Drama. We also provide Teaching Qualifications and are proud to help, encourage and support our members in all dance disciplines to establish and develop their business.

To join us all you have to do is learn the Syllabus in the style of dance you want to teach and then take the Associate exam.

You can learn through the syllabus yourself or if you feel you need any help we can find you a teacher. Once you are ready to do the exam you need to send back the application form with the payment 2 weeks before you want to do the exam. We can then find an Examiner who can put you through the exam.

You can purchase any books from our shop.

If you are a member with another dance society, you can transfer over to us. You would just need to send back the application form with copies of your qualifications and membership card and pay the transfer fee.
